Apple Watch Ultra case

Apple Watch bands are available in a variety of materials, each with its own characteristics.

To make sure you don't make a mistake when choosing your Apple Watch band, you need to consider two criteria: the size of your wrist and the size of your watch case.

Determining your wrist size

When buying an Apple Watch (sometimes called an iWatch or smartwatch), you need to consider the size of the band.

The ideal watch band is neither too tight nor too loose. A man's wrist generally measures 150 to 190 mm, while a woman's is 130 to 180 mm.

To determine the ideal length for your band, you'll need to start by measuring the circumference of your wrist.

To measure your wrist, you'll need a tape measure. If you don't have one, use a piece of string or ribbon and transfer it to a ruler. Wrap your wrist loosely, and once you've got the measurement, round up to the next half-centimeter.

For example: 152 mm measured = 155 mm

If your wrist size is between 130 and 200 millimeters, you can use Apple Watch Bands 38/40/41/42 millimeters. On the other hand, if your wrist size is between 140 and 230 millimeters, you can use bands for Apple Watch 44/45/46/49 millimeters.

Apple Watch case compatibility

You'll find the case size on the back of your Apple Watch.

Whether you have an Apple Watch series 0; series 1; series 2; series 3; series 4; series 5; series 6; series 7; series 8; series 9; series 10; SE; Ultra 1 or Ultra 2, all models are compatible and follow the following rule:

Bands for 38 mm, 40 mm, 41 mm, 42 mm (series 10) cases are compatible with each other.

Bands for 42 mm (series 1,2,3), 44 mm, 45 mm, 46 mm and 49 mm cases are compatible with each other.

I have an Apple Watch 40 mm : I select the size 38/40/41/42 mm

I have an Apple Watch 41 mm : I select the size 38/40/41/42 mm

I have an Apple Watch 42 mm (series 10): I select the size 38/40/41/42 mm

I have an Apple Watch 42 mm (series 1,2,3) : I select size 44/45/46/49 mm

I have an Apple Watch 44 mm : I select the size 44/45/46/49 mm

I have an Apple Watch 45 mm : I select the size 44/45/46/49 mm

I have an Apple Watch 49 mm : I select the size 44/45/46/49 mm
